What means decografie?

decografie - from lat. decorare "decorate, embellish" and ancient Greek. graphein "writing, painting, drawing", ie the art of designing patterns for industrial production. Taking trends into account, individual designs as well as entire collections are developed for textiles (bedding, curtains, carpets, etc.), papers (wallpaper, wrapping paper, paper napkins, stationery items, etc.) and other materials such as porcelain and plastics.

What is lifestyle?

The trend books "lifestyle" are a new tool for manufacturers with inspirations, mood boards, colors and innovative patterns.

Want to be inspired?

Mood boards are an important tool that mark the beginning of the creative process. They capture the zeitgeist in terms of themes, colours, shapes and material. They are in themselves small artworks that give insights into the artistic work of the designer, a process I do not want to withhold from you, a design enthusiast.
